The Fuerteventura Golf Club is the first 18 hole golf course in Fuerteventura, Canaries, venue in which the Spain Open tournament was held in 2004. It is one of the most outstanding in the fortunate islands, designed by the renowned Juan Catarineu.
It is located in the Fuerteventura Golf Resort, surrounded by 1,500,000 m², the largest green surface in the islands, between lakes, palm trees and beautiful well-kept greenery, making it perfect for the ideal golf vacation.
Holes 1 to 10 begin facing the ocean only to return to the same starting point. The round runs next to 3 lakes connected to a small channel. The fairways, tees and the rough present a very well kept lawn, and its 67 bunkers, of little depth, integrate in the design of the course, with fairways of up to 50 m in width and spacious greens with an average of more than 614 m².
